About Us
Our organization is totally and exclusively committed to the belief that our outstanding Spokane Symphony Orchestra must be supported in every way possible. We know that no arts organization can survive, much less excel, with the proceeds from ticket sales alone.
The Spokane Symphony Associates is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose primary goals are financial and volunteer support for the Spokane Symphony Orchestra. In existence for nearly 48 years, SSA has contributed over $2.7 million to the symphony's operating budget and has been the largest single contributor to the symphony for the past 8 years. In addition, we provide volunteer assistance where needed in the orchestra's education programs, subscription campaigns, etc.
SSA is a member of the League of American Orchestras, a national organization, which provides leadership and service to American orchestras while communicating to the public the value and importance of orchestras and the music they perform.
